quote:

After Gov. John Bel Edwards ordered bars, casinos and other businesses to shut down or curtail operations to fight the rapid spread of the coronavirus in Louisiana, U.S. Rep. Clay Higgins posted a video in which he blasted the governor as “out of line” and accusing him of sitting in an “ivory tower.”

quote:

Higgins, a Republican from Port Barre, took a stance that is sharply at odds with public health professionals, political leaders and President Donald Trump’s administration, which has advised severe restrictions to tamp down a rising tide of COVID-19 cases.

quote:

Sen. Cassidy(R), a physician, called the governor's actions absolutely appropriate and said the only question is whether the measures will be enough to prevent a public health disaster from unfolding in the state.

I can't stand him from the time of his first rant that had boomer republicans cheering for his police state tactics.

HOWEVER...

I don't know that he is wrong this time. I don't know that he is right either, but I would lean more towards private citizens and private industry to have the freedom to make decisions about what measures they should take vs blanket QT from the government.

The last video with all of the dudes holding rifles calling gang members animals and challenging them to gun fights was boomer porn.

Blame this guy for having audacity to run for Higgins' current seat after everything he did to stab conservatives in the back and elect a liberal Governor in JBE.

He was a career politician that ran for everything under the sun while stabbing conservatives in the back and just wouldn't' stop and the people of Acadiana had enough and chose a moron like Higgins over Snake in the Grass Scott.

So what about the guy in KY that tested positive and didn’t want to go along with quarantine? Should he be allowed to make his own decisions?

What about vaccines in general? This situation is roughly akin to vaccinations in that the protective measures are only effective if everyone (or virtually everyone) participates.
