I’m well aware of the horrific story. Well aware enough to know he’s not in jail.

Same, the point was people need to quit acting like pedophilia is partisan. It’s demonstrable that way too many politicians on both sides of the aisle have been convicted of child sex crimes.
And it’s painfully obvious that people on both sides of the aisle are implicated in the Epstein scandal. The “move on” crew is suspicious.

Pedophiles can be Republican or Democrat.
Republicans will mistake someone for not being a pedophile based on their opinion of the person. This is a fatal flaw of the charisma ethic.
Marxists don’t believe in childhood innocence. To the extent that Marxism and progressivism and the Democratic Party overlap, the grooming accusation is legitimate.

Burchett is far from in the same boat as the overwhelming majority of Establishment Uniparty/RINO stooges. He's actually one of the few honest and principled members of Congress who would be happy to see things change wholesale.
I wish my reps were even half as based as Tim. He's probably my favorite politician since the late Tom Coburn (R-OK).

I just don’t think this is true at all. Assuming someone has pedophilic proclivities based on their politics is a dangerous non-sequitur (the price of beans in China fallacy) & part of the problem with modern partisan politics. You’re dehumanizing people based on their political leanings.
Fact is, every person not diagnosed with an antisocial personality disorder believes in the innocence of children. Most pedophiles even likely know that what they’re doing is wrong.
If you can find me a statistic that says democratic representatives have committed more child sex crimes than Republican representatives, I’d hear you out.
Oddly, there does seem to be an abnormally high incidence amongst politicians & powerful people in general.
