Anyway…everything I’m seeing about this bill says it’s a ban on creating a CBDC until 2031 or something.

I've been saying this.
None of this matters unless you vote the right people into Congress. They won't, will blame Trump, then cycle repeats.
I'll even throw the idiots a bone. You don't like what's going on with Iran? Congress hasn't declared war since WW2. Yet every president since has had some conflict. They haven't done anything to significantly deter the MIC.
A person like Bernie Sanders rails on military spending but military industries bring $2 billion to his state. They also have the f35s at Burlington. Even if you are a lefty against the military, you need to think about who you are really voting for.
