Go back and look at Louisiana for the past century. How many governors, senators, or congressman were Republicans? Answer: very few
Before Vitter was elected we had no Republican senators for 100+ years. Other than a few governors, Democrats held the top spot almost exclusively.
Louisiana was a state run by one party and what did it get us? How did we rank in education, employment, median income, health care, crime, or any other quality of life category? Answer: at the bottom
The FACT is this state was run into the ground by the Democratic Party. Now it chaps their arse that we have voted them out of office.
Hopefully we'll lose some non-productive citizens due to these changes and gain some of the honest, hard-working people who had to leave the state due to our former liberal leadership and their policies.
