I'm going to side with SFP on this one actually.
Our problem isn't that this exists, it's that the Democrats are doing a terrible job keeping their people in line.
Shame, exclusion, public humiliation - all of these things should be employed to keep the more insane parts of society in check, without stomping on first amendment rights. True Freedom-focused Liberals should be viciously making fun of communists.
But we have 2 problems:
1) Democrats at some point pivoted to emotions over their dogmas, so they had their nuts removed and are unwilling to make anyone feel bad for their bad beliefs.
2) We lost our high trust society/belief in a common shared vision for America, even if we disagreed on how to get there.
With those two things happening, it looks like the only way to control this stuff is via stomping on rights. And it's not necessarily incorrect. Left of Center people have lost their ability to police their ilk. And that's a problem for everyone.
Just like "normal" homosexuals lost their ability to police their own as well.
Well meaning Democrats needs to sack up.

I see what you're getting at and I don't necessarily disagree. I believe the issue is a cultural one. But keep in mind, many of our current cultural problems in the nation are the result of liberal policy. The leftward shift of the Overton Window has made it so communists are openly recruiting with zero shame. Yes, they have the right to speak freely about their political ideology.
It's the same way with the problems facing the Black community. They are in a cultural free-fall since the left has more or less made them slaves to government benefits and jobs.
This trend will work its way into every ethic group if communism is allowed to supplant capitalism. Much like secularism has eroded the Church, these leftist tendencies will destroy all sense of purpose and morality.
If you're waiting for the people pushing these ideologies to police themselves, you'll be waiting a very long time.

Many years ago I went to a 1-week school for my job that if I did not pass the final test, I would be sent home without a job.

I don't disagree.... so the only way to reset it is through 1) Violence or 2) Becoming illberal, ie ignoring the first amendment in this case.

Quick, half assed research shows that the RCA has been around since 1998 and currently has about 1,100 members.

It's a single event of many events put on by the LA Marxist School. Not that hard to understand.
So this is okay as long as the classes are held in a conference room and not a classroom? Is that your take on this?
