On the fb feed. I can only take a few mins. These sheep want martial law and EVERYTHING shutdown.

Its crazy 
Just shows how dumb the average American is and why someone like Rand Paul will never get elected.
They think Everything will magically be better if we shut down for a few weeks. Never mind that it will spread like wildfire once everything opens back on May 1.
Should have just taken our lumps and this would be on the decline by mid April

For some odd reason a lot of posters on this board don’t care for him. Even the ones that are impartial or somewhat like him for some reason they always say they would never vote for him.

John Bel Edwards = The Greatest Louisiana Governor ever in Texas history.
They think the world of him for doubling down on sending Louisiana's best and brightest after providing them them with a college education paid for by Louisiana taxpayers along with tons of small business owners and companies as well.

JBE (and others, frankly) keep pushing the “it will come back by fall” narrative all the while implying that a shutdown or bad outcomes will happen there too. I’m sorry, we should have insanely better testing, the drugs to fight it, more plants producing ventilators, and antibody testing in place by then. Not to mention gloves, masks, and other essential PPE restocked. Why the frick should it be worse when we’ll have several months ramping up efforts? That irritates me as chicken-little sky screaming. I will say that he has been doing a decent job on this, but let’s not act like we won’t get better at dealing with this issue months down the road

It would have absolutely overwhelmed our medical infrastructure.
The quarantine has been effected which is why so many are getting g restless. It has also slowed the spread. Now we have a legit shot of having a vaccination and/or a legitimate available treatment when we do open things back up.
You are correct, people are still going to pass it and catch the virus, but I think we have done everything we could to not get overwhelmed and develop testing and treatment.
