Daily Mail
Guessing it will arrive here in 3 months.

China has launched a new app that will allow citizens to report others who criticise the ruling Chinese Communist Party or question its account of history online.
Released by China's cyber regulator, along with a similar hotline, the app aims to crack down on 'historical nihilists' ahead of the Party's 100th anniversary in July, the regulator said in a statement on Friday.
An arm of Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) said the app and hotline will allow and encourage netizens to report fellow internet users who spread 'mistaken opinions' online in order to create a 'good public opinion atmosphere'.
Such offences would include 'distorting' the Party's history, attacking its leadership and policies, defaming national heroes and 'deny the excellence of advanced socialist culture' online, the notice said.
"For a while now, some people with ulterior motives... have spread historically nihilistic false statements online, maliciously distorting, slandering and denying Party, national and military history in an attempt to confuse people's thinking.
'We hope that the majority of Internet users will actively play their part in supervising society ... and enthusiastically report harmful information,' it said.
'Historical nihilism' is a phrase used in China to describe public doubt and scepticism over the Chinese Communist Party's description of past events.
China's internet is tightly censored and most foreign social media networks, search engines and news outlets are banned in the country.
Guessing it will arrive here in 3 months.

Leftists think this would be a great tool. To fight white supremacy of course.

It’s been here. Facebook. And it’s written in ink. Even if you delete posts, they have the log.
The messenger app listens through phones and iPads.
Only a matter of time before Facebook is weaponized.

Democrats touch themselves while they read that article

How do they know what "wrong think" is?
What they think is wrong think could very well be right think. Who decides?

This was no doubt developed by some American tech company though you'd have a hard time proving it.
CCP says we control how you operate in China. We control the information.
In exchange the CCP offers up their population as a lab for big tech.
China is the model. Democrats want to be the American version of the CCP.
Total control with zero opposition.
Anyone denying it is willfully blind.

Having lived there, agreed. I loved my time in China, but we’re heading down their path. Got to differentiate between the CCP and the Chinese people, but they’re going off their playbook.
I was sitting in an outdoor brewery when the press declared the Presidency for Biden. People were launching fireworks, riding down the street honking their horns, celebrating, and giving high fives (none of which I took or returned). This was just going through my mind all day knowing we had a President elect subjected to the CCP: YouTube

That was last year. I called that line (along with Garcetti’s rat line) on a daily basis. They never caught Mayor DeBlasio shoving his dick down a 9 year old’s throat behind the Plaza Hotel no matter how many times I warned them.
But I think they’re going to start penalizing people like me who troll them.

And yet so many "conservatives" are fine with Google and Big Tech surveillance economy. I asked a question to a new conservative Republican about Big Tech ... with a live audience ... and he was squirming that he was going to have to answer a Big Tech question. He jumped on the Section 230 bandwagon and ignored my question. I specifically said "other than section 230" in the question. It was like GOP leadership had told him what he should talk about and not.

There are apps on the Chinese apps in the Apple store that track US citizens. I saw one that was basically pretending to be the Tor Browser. It is listed as something like ... Tor Browser + Privacy VPN.

It sure would be nice if we had a political party with a set of balls that would stand up for both the USA and it’s citizens and put a stop to these tech companies BS.
