I find it stunning that a state that votes R by a 20 point margin, and has been doing so since 2004, has as its major paper/website a leftwing rag.

Latoya is going to keep the mandate in place regardless of what JBE does. That way, she can simply blame people from outside the parish for any spike in “cases” in the parish.

I like how he just glossed over the Texas and Mississippi outcomes after they ended the mandate. He suggests ignoring looking East or West and looking to the CDC. Same clowns who said no masks 12 months ago. Amazing how people think masks are the end all, be all of this virus.

A black associate at my place of work was overheard telling another black associate that whites developed Covid to kill black people, that whites wanted them to do all this work, that they wear their masks but whites don't to kill more blacks.

I dont know what has happened to him. I used to work with him a little when he was with Grambling State. He wasnt always been this way, or at least he didnt do so verbally. Somewhere between him leaving and now he has gone off the deep end. It got to where even his LinkedIn feed is unbearable.

Also mentions our neighbor states lifted mandates and how dangerous that was yet didn’t list any data backing it up. On the contrary, the data from the neighboring states has been very positive.
His whole reasoning is purely on feeling and emotion. What about variants? Not enough people are vaccinated even though we really have no idea what that number needs to be other than we clearly see the deaths and hospitalizations dropped to pre-Covid levels. Maybe we are there.
