Abolish mandatory minimums.

Also, don't twist my words, I said he presents both sides the argument not that he sides with conservatives.

it wouldn't shock me if this is a bait by Oliver and company to attack Trump (for his comments about opening up libel laws)

So I can't say Oliver is no Lenny Bruce or George Carlin because no one said he is?

When was that rule written?

No.

Your posts suck.

Let's think of some other interesting insights that DawgFaninCa could come up with which no one has ever thought:

"Vince Vaughn is no Peter O'Toole or Daniel Day Lewis."
"Dave Matthews Band is no Beetles or the Who."
"Burger King is no In-N-Out or Five Guys."

My bad that's misleading, by that I mean theoretically, obviously we're still primarily reliant on fossil fuels. Its based on current efficiencies where we'd only require something like .8-1% of US land dedicated to solar to meet US energy consumption needs, and then if you extrapolate that for the rest of the world it would be less that 5% of the US. Obviously dispersion/etc makes that enrealistic but the theory behind it was what I was eluding to.

You're twisting my words. I asked a question based on your claim of Olivers "fairness" in presenting both sides. From your comment that he "presents both sides"...but never sides with any but one side...always the same side, paints Oliver out to be exactly what most leftists ideologues are...fake purveyors of "facts".

I'm all in favor of developing other means of creating electricity but I think the world will always need coal to some degree.

I like to think of coal as our ace in the hole.

We have huge deposits of coal and we will develop innovative ways of mining it and burning it much more cleanly than we are capable of doing today.

No. That john oliver is hilarious is what makes him a great comedian. Especially when it comes to the political realm.

Fossil fuels will always be required until we can replace the combustible engine with a nuclear device. There are certainly ways to replace vast majority of common transport with battery powered devices but it's only for developed nations with dependable infrastructure. Others will need more flexibility.
