When did Jackie Robinson do anything to disgrace himself like this?

As far as I know he lived a very humble, respectable life.

It's like Van Broheem never saw Antonio Huggy Bear Fargas in Car Wash or Omar Little in the Wire.

Jackie Robinson and Martin Luther King are Real Deal Holyfield ICONS..for all people..and ageless.

Not token modern day faux creations for a demographic..and a mere political moment.

'Empire' as a show, to have him as a beloved character, I think did a great deal to knock back homophobia in the black community.

Jackie Robinson (like Jesse Owens) was a Republican and I'm quite certain he would not be "down" with this open homosexuality thing (NTTAWWT).

And what Jesse Owens, Jackie Robinson, Joe Louis and millions of other black folks had to overcome in the U.S. under asignificantly more racist/prejudiced environment in America took a lot of courage and strength.

That's the opposite of what Smollett displayed.

Not in the black community at large.

Sherman Hemsley is a black TV icon. Jussie Mollett is a C list hack.

He's fricking retarded. He's the same jackass who cried about Trump being elected as a "whitelash," despite Trump getting less of the White vote than Romney 4 years prior.

I can't think of too many famous important gay black celebrities but come on, does Van Jones even listen to "Chances Are" by Johnny Mathis

He also said he had just got off the phone with Mexican and Muslim families who were wondering if they should flee the country.

Yanno... it's possible to hate a gay dude not because he's gay, but because he's an a-hole that makes up hate crimes. That's not homophobic.

Good. These "community leader" huckster assholes need to be exposed and their allies ignored. It's all just lip service to enhance their own careers anyway. And now, it's provable bullshite.
