This should be worth absolutely canceling the entire thing.. Either that or allow the campaigns to both independently record the entire thing if they want.
I can't even imagine what kind of bullshite they'll rig up with this unless there's some counter control available.

Trump has been cornered into accepting whatever last-minute debate changes Biden’s handlers throw at him. There’s no backing down now. If you don’t believe the uniparty has thought this thing out thoroughly and is several steps ahead, I don’t know what to tell you.
But don’t worry, the public will be allowed the transcripts of the event, just not the video, which should sound familiar enough.

This is providing a fantastic opportunity for Team Trump to record the entire thing and release it completely uncut and unedited. Technology can be used for both good and evil, and I suspect we will see it used both ways.
XiNN will just bank on dubbing the unedited video/audio as "Russian disinformation", and the entire fraudulently installed administration will back them up in a White House statement claiming that Blumpf and his fascist army are lying.

I think they use it to edit Biden’s speaking issues.

How do we know this? Not taking up for CNN in the slightest and believe they’d be up for something like this but where does this kind of technical info come from? I’ll be happy to be pissed off but some dude on social media saying this doesn’t make it true.

All we will see are the questions and Bidens responses. Trumps responses will be edited out and never seen.
Its so much bullshite. Another reason to go with my suggestion of how debates should be handled.
No moderators
Each candidate gets 1 minute to ask the other a question and they get 4 minutes to reply.
Computer controls the mic's being on and off.
This way each candidate can make the other reply to questions they think are relevant. We could see tonight all be loaded questions and none hard for Biden.
