You make it highly criminal to pay,and employ them.
Have a green card check,similar to The NCIS gun buying clearance.
Surely, if they can check the 2nd Amendment rights of every American Citizen buying a gun,they could do the same,to find out if a minority person is a legal citizen,or legal immigrant. shite,check me too,just so we aren't racist,or singling anybody out.
It's not that difficult.

The only thing that I would change in this is the Dreamers can stay but are not given any special path the citizenship above what any other immigrant that hopes to become a US citizen legally is given. No jumping line and no right to vote until they become citizens.

Use your brain. Americans are a compassionate people. Do you really think the majority of independents/moderates will not be moved by footage of Dreamers being forcibly removed from their homes, rounded up onto buses, and tossed over the border?
I would really love to deport these people but I just don't see it happening. Republicans do not have the political capital to initiate such a campaign.

NO citizenship for anyone who came here illegally - they have to "GO BACK" on their own = 'self-deport' and apply for naturalization just like a Norwegian has to do.
Nobody who has to be deported at USA expense/effort should EVER be eligible for citizenship - regardless - for EVER.
Mass 'self-deportation' is their ONLY 'path.'

I agree with you. I understand you can't round them all up and deport. I'm good with giving them a window to register and giving them worker id numbers. Let them stay here legally, but with no path to citizenship. Goes for their anchor babies too. Congress needs to fix this mess.

Because they are not children, and citizenship is sacred. It is not something to be held lightly. They must prove they want it... active duty service or go back and apply. Otherwise, stay and work etc but you don't vote.
