Senate Bill 54 is actually illegal but legal because it passed. And what is mostly being ignored is that the officer was a legal immigrant who even took speaking classes to help his broken English accent so that he could better communicate as a LEO with the public.
I just watched the video of the brother and my heart really breaks for him, the family, and the department.
California needs to wake the frick up. Politicians who passed this bill need to be held individually and collectively accountable for Officer Singh's death. Heads need to fricking roll.
