It’s not that she isn’t qualified. Merrick Garland was qualified. It’s that she is being confirmed less than a month before the election when Republicans previously said a nominee shouldn’t be confirmed in an election year.

They dont give a shite about that. They think they will be completely rewriting history over next 20-30 years. They are doing it now shitting on founding fathers

They're trying to win an election. They know it's bad optics to shite on a woman as intellectually impressive and upstanding as ACB. They were able to do it with Palin by portraying her as a half-wit. And Palin reinforced that with stupid comments. ACB is a very different story.

Maybe that flies on the PT echo chamber but not with casual observers. To quote Lindsay Graham “ I want you to use my words against me. If there's a Republican president in 2016 and a vacancy occurs in the last year of the first term, you can say Lindsey Graham said, 'Let's let the next president, whoever it might be, make that nomination,' " he said in 2016 shortly after the death of Justice Antonin Scalia. "And you could use my words against me and you'd be absolutely right."

Doesn’t mention if the Senate chamber is a different party than the President.

All the media outlets are softening us up for the huge election fraud and the steal for Biden / Harris.

DO NOT FALL FOR IT

They steal it, we get angry and stay angry.

The lack of personal attacks on her thus far have me wondering what’s really going on, though I do think it’s a function of polling showing the public supports ACB.

Actually that was Biden's made up "rule". Democrat president--democrat "rules". Republican president--republican rules.

Oh, and if you're seeking consistency--why aren't democarats willing to vote?

Maybe you can go frick yourself.

In both instances the democrats just wanted the Republicans to cede power.

The democrats never would in either situation.

Again, frick you.

also, lame duck vs reelection campaign

Did I say frick you loud enough?

It’s because they know this is a losing battle.
Might as well take the road of “We like her” to make themselves look better

What do they have on her?

Is this gonna be a Roberts situation where somebody is pulling her strings?

My thought as well. I've seen this too many times. I hope I'm wrong.

They know it’s over. They’re giving Kamala et al an out.

Also, they know attacking her would sink them in 3 weeks.

The left attacks Barrett at their peril because she exemplifies what so many suburban female voters aspire to. Many suburban females loathe Trump, personally, while being more inclined on matters of policy to vote GOO.

Lol my “side.” Just because I think one party is hypocritical on an issue doesn’t mean I have a side. Kavanaugh still sits on the Supreme Court doesn’t he?

They know they can’t afford another Kavanaugh fiasco if they hope to pick up Senate seats.
