This means that, by circumstance and availability, all the other worthwhile news outlets were banned…….and fake news outlets like CNN took their spot due to elitism.

This doesn’t rate high on my personal list of First Amendment threats (I actually laughed the first time I heard about the “Gulf of America” story), but it’s clearly verboten and when Trump does things like this, it underscores that he doesn’t care about rules. If you want to show that you “cherish” the free press, do what every president does: mess with them legally.

No violations occurred. CNN can buy their own ticket to Tennessee and cover everything at their own expense. Still able to exercise freedom of press..... they just have to pay for it, instead of getting a free ride
