Yes he does. It’s not even close. I was in Seattle during the height of covid, and I walked around downtown without a mask on. And there were a few others doing that as well. In China that would have seen you jailed or beaten. This is an order of magnitude different.

China being in the market makes them not communists. They have a mixed economy just like us. They just live under a more authoritarian government.
Their people were starving and didn’t have work. They had to enter the global markets.
But I do agree that the idea of communism and giving into the state is as strong as ever.
But what most people are complaining about, the government did, not capitalism.
