Clinton's apology vs. Trump's apology analysis

Clinton definitely should have apologized. The guy was caught in two major wrongs admitted by his own self. One, he cheated on his wife and admitted it by getting a blow job from an intern no less in all places the sacred, Nancy's words, Oval Office. Two, he lied under oath about it and admitted as such. His apology was warranted towards the American people.
Trump definitely had nothing to apologize for. Their was no guilt proven on his part by the House, just innuendos. There was no apology warranted from him for something he wasn't convicted of allegedly doing.
Summary, one owed an apology and one didn't if we're being honest here.

Please add in that he got the blowie from an intern. One of his subordinates who may have felt pressured to “please” him. People always gloss over this fact like it’s not important. He didn’t just have sexual relations with some person, it was someone he had a position of power over in the White House.

Investigating how our tax money ends up in politicians pockets is the right thing to do.

It's funny how this option is never mentioned by the news, including FOX, as a viable reason he did what he did.

90% of this forum is honest as hell.

Well then Trump would have plenty to investigate and he would be investigating both republicans and democrats.
If Hunters last name wasn’t Biden he wouldn’t have pursued it. It was all about the upcoming election which is why all he cared about was Ukraine to make a public announcement about it even if they didn’t actually act on it.

You can spout bullshite 1000 times and it still will be bullshite

Wrong. Trump was in no way shape or form threatened by Biden in the up-coming election. It's fairly obvious the Biden's are dirty and he would love nothing more than to prove it. Trump has been investigated more than any president in history

That is pure speculation on your part. You do know he has withheld aid from eight other countries for the same reason, corruptness, and the Bidens were not mentioned in those scenarios.

he cheated on his wife
And that was none of our business; anyone that didn't know Slick was a dog wasn't paying attention

That was chickenshit on his part and deserved censure, not impeachment

I can believe this.

But is there anything else he could have lied about that would've warranted impeachment?

Sure, lots of things but that's the only thing he DID lie about. Look I don't like Slick one bit but his impeachment looked every bit as partisan as the one Trump just went through.

I understand where you're coming from. I just have a slightly different view of the perjury matter...not that Im saying I'd ultimately come to a different conclusion. But it's just hard to envision a debate in an impeachment proceeding specifically devoted to whether an instance of perjury is repugnant enough to warrant impeachment. But ultimately I guess that's exactly what happened with Clinton, essentially jury nullification.
Now, the obstruction article, that one was a little more repugnant, IMO anyway. It's one thing to lie oneself to cover up one's affair. But another thing altogether when that same person additionally coaches another to lie about it, as was the allegation in Clinton's article II.

You don't think that if it was merely negative public attention to the Bidens that Trump was seeking, you don't think he figured he could've just sat back and waited for the probable Senate inquiry that was to come about? Just as it has??

I think the end game is Biden's boss.
Remember one of the big reasons he decided to run for President?

The ironic thing is that the impeachment process is what has tanked Biden, not Trumps phone call.
Almost like someone planned it. Hmmmm...
