The “if roles were reversed” argument doesn’t work and is pointless.

Only action is going to make a difference

The truth is if it was a bunch of black people suffering, the White House would have been all over this.

Wasn't Asheville hit pretty hard? Last I checked, that's a pretty liberal area.

I keep hearing it's the mountainous terrain and the absolute destruction of the roads which is limiting aid.

He didn't say the hurricane was politically driven. He's talking about fedgov's response. Is FEMA getting shite to Asheville?

Eh, in all honesty... I don't think it is a matter of them not wanting to help, I think it is a matter of these folks simply cannot function unless it is scripted for them on a piece of paper... They are inept... They think the world revolves around an "easy" button and when SHTF all you got to do is push it and it is unicorns and rainbows...

I don’t. I think there’s so much incompetence in DC thinking it’s because those communities will vote for Trump is giving them too much credit.

The funny thing, is Asheville is very blue, but they are surrounded by red. Therefore, they get to experience what happens when the President and federal government actively hates and wants to punish anyone that doesn't vote your way.

And the leftists here applaud and support the lack of response to this disaster.

The media keeps saying NC is a swing state. Even if you live in an area that wasn't hit, I would think you'd be upset at Biden and Kamala for not doing more to help your state.

I'm just here to point out the OP's misuse of "says the quiet part out loud"

And Asheville is about the only area getting significant help... and press coverage. Weird.

EVERYBODY?

No, no, no, no – that’s where you’re wrong. Because we know that since this is an Biden/Harris administration, all aid will be distributed “with EQUITY as its number one priority," i.e., in a completely racist and unconstitutional manner.

So, white guys will need to get to the back of the bus no matter their economic standing or the damage to their property.

If the area was full of Haitians, Mexicans, Ukrainians, Palestinians, etc they would throw all our tax dollars at it... Americans last.

I realize this is extremely cynical, but... I assume that voter turnout in western North Carolina is going to be severely depressed - will this shift the numbers enough to put NC in play?
