Well he most certainly hit a HOME RUN with CITIZEN VIGILANTE. Tickets to see it are over 3 weeks out in my area. People have been waiting for this.

I remember that. Anyone that has followed film for any length of time is well aware of his…infamy.
He knew what he was doing with this one. He saw a right wing grift others were getting a sweet sweet piece of and wanted some of it.

It certainly is not a high quality production, and it's interspersed with some stock city footage anyone can purchase, the story is whack, the sex scene bizarre, and somehow, it works well enough and strikes such a nerve that I'm ready to watch it again.

It is a poorly made movie, but it hits a serious nerve in the pent-up frustration of Europe and even the US.
Concerned Citizen was a 1000 times better as a movie, but a nerve has been stuck.

I'm on my 4th viewing. Every time I watch it again I see scenes that are even more revealing than previous. What a great time for this movie.

A fictional movie that has some modicum of truth about mass illegal immigration being a net negative to Western civilization is a grift? Interesting.

Yeah, the messaging is very timely and he’s certainly tapped into the counter-cultural zeitgeist which will make this movie a financial blockbuster. All of which is fantastic IMO. However, it is difficult to get around the fact that Citizen Vigilante is just not a good movie or story line.
Perhaps if he had the good fortune of having a major studio behind him they could have ironed out many of the blemishes but I get the feeling the screenplay was written in an afternoon with much of the dialogue as libbed as cameras were rolling. And at the end of the day, there seemed very little actual retribution and vengeance going on.

I’m glad people like it and are connecting with it.
My comments are about the filmmaker not the film, which I have not seen. He’s not an unknown he is very very famous for being an extremely bad filmmaker and making a lot of very open tax scams, fake “controversial” films (of all political types) and shock schlock
