Yeah it's an idea that doesn't hold up under scrutiny. Paying for them to move and getting them jobs will just enable to keep using. The best thing might just be to let them live on the streets and then maybe one day they will get sick of it and make the decision to seek treatment and stop using. Tough love might just be the best approach.

Do you think companies are leaving California because of Trump’s policies, or do you think it has more to do with the democrat utopia policies they implement there?

I’ll say it again and hopefully someone with ties to Trump’s administration lurk on this forum and they can relay the suggestion.

Trump should hold a massive rally in CA and center the rally on raising money for the homeless in CA.....make it a fricking telethon and watch the Left Coast Elites spiral into to complete meltdown because Trump beat them at their own virtue signaling game.

Is their an example in history of a government fixing the homeless problem? Obviously improving the economy would help.

The last thing I've heard is that the homeless problem in CA continues to get much worse. And at the same time, our economy is outstanding, and continues to improve.

Your statement of "obviously, improving the economy would help" just doesn't compute.

How about, take care of me where I don't have to work, contribute when I panhandle for drug money, give me the needles, etc.,and I will come and stay with you?

Make it illegal to feed, cloth and shelter them and impose strict prison time and fines for doing so. It’ll solve itself quick....

There is a reason it’s illegal to feed bears in the national parks.

If we would just grind up homeless people and feed them to other homeless people the problem would be solved

Trump is a kinder person than me. The only Christmas message I had for liberals was to tell them to go frick themselves and I couldn't be any more sincere.

Never show kindness to an enemy and that's what the left wing is whether people want to admit it or not.

A lot in this thread are assuming these people want to work. With social programs and the good weather they are perfectly happy with their lifestyle.

They want the govt to help their broken dams. Help when their forests burn. Now trying to get HUD to fix the homeless problem.

Its amazing that they cant see they are their own worst enemy.

Shat, needles and homeless, San Fran now the worst in theft in the country.

housing shortage

Not the problem.

Drug addiction and mental illness are the problem.

The Government solution to those problems is not NOT enforcing the laws that forbid living on a public sidewalk, shitting outside of people’s businesses, and allowing people to shoot up in public.
