China is a risky place to do business.

Unless we get a comprehensive deal we really are better off not doing business with them.

Not at 140% or wherever they were last week.

This is going to break John Barron's heart. The fake news he was embracing about Trump caving.

I believe nothing the Chinese government says. They speak pure propaganda for their own people all the time.

That’s correct. No doubt Trump would like to discuss with Xi. But my understanding is that Xi and Trump have not spoken since the inauguration.

If anyone has evidence that they have spoken, please advise.

Are you aware that CNBC and MSNBC are different channels?

Im not sure how true this is. For the last few weeks, any mention of tariffs had the stock market dropping significantly.

If the market truly felt that Trump and Xi werent talking, the markets would react as such. But they arent.

I’m not necessarily talking about this, but the other threads people have been saying about the US trying to let up on the tariffs, etc.

“Leaked info from treasury secretary Scott Bessent…”
