I'm of the opinion that this back and forth with China gets worked out within a few more months. The market will take off once China, government shutdown, and a couple of 1/4 point interest cuts occur. I'm also putting my money where my mouth is on this too.

China is counting on shills like you to exaggerate negatives to help them attempt to have an upper hand.

We need to crush those commie bastards now.

For the life of me I can’t see why people would support a communist regime who is openly trying to hurt America.

Cyber attacks
Copyright disregard
Intellectual property theft
Espionage

The list goes on

The salient question is "can you "unlevel" that field?"

Explain how you would do it. No long twisting narratives, just a couple of sentences explaining your plan
• Keep domestic pay low through isolation of the populace to foreign markets, foreign investment, and foreign currency.
• Manipulate and artificially weaken domestic currency, reducing real overhead costs in international terms.
• Use the export profit differentials to subsidize exports and further expand market share.

China?

If this is your plan, you have it backward.

China?
Yes, they've "unleveled" the field

The question was how would you "unlevel" the trade equation. It doesn't need to be answered, in a hypothetical, or in an opinion. China has done, successfully, for decades. That's the point.

I took the "you" to be generic btw. Both in your original post and my response to it. What you personally want is not terribly relevant.

Right. Based on your posts, I'm sure that is your perception. It is a huge mistake in the case of state-owned and/or controlled economies, like China

Our economy is controlled by the fed.

We have no room to talk

Youre wanting to penalize Americans for it

They are not in a free democracy and dont "endure", as much as they are forced.

What goes up goes down. I’m still on team individual. Team Totalitarian may take the lead someday but we’re not going anywhere either. Hell. Vegas had us 1/42 to beat the British!
