Had to go overseas to see the news reporting on this:

LINK

Parts of Europe, Asia, and Australia are openly talking about preparing for a hot war with China

Meanwhile, in the US, we’re retarded.

China isn’t prepared to take Taiwan by force yet and likely won’t be until the end of this decade. Hopefully we’ll have a more sane administration then.

Good. I don’t see where this is our concern.

Let’s sit out of WWIII until the missiles start flying our way while troops March in from Canada and Terrorism floods in from Mexico.

Another world war would certainly be a problem. You can’t see that?

We, the people, are weak for letting retarded people come to power via fraud and doing nothing about it

Ergo, we are retarded by extension

It makes me freaked out that a Gvt official in a allied nation would say, in print, that the USA cannot be relied upon to help another ally.

Xiden is weak, and he is owned. And everybody knows it. Especially Xiden. But at least Dr. Jill gets to live in the White House. And no mean tweets.

There is a microchip shortage worldwide,, and Taiwan leads the word in advanced semiconductor chips,, which many believe are more valuable than oil. China taking Taiwan and taking over the microchip manufacturing would ascend China to the tech worldpower.

Meanwhile in US, our big companies are shipping all our manufacturing out of country, and having struggle sessions about if a chick can piss in a urinal or not.

Pudding pop Joe is more worried about $15 minimum wage than a world war.

Wag must believe that a war involving much of the 1st world would affect trade.

Needless to say, if that is what he believes, then we will agree to disagree.

I get the war strategy angle, but we can go through India, Thailand, South Korea, Japan just as easily.

Their lack of an adequate number of amphibious landing ships and supply logistics assets to sustain an invasion. Taiwan only has to defend a handful of beachheads thanks to their topography and with their current military China would be unlikely to establish a beachhead. Could China take the various islands in the Taiwanese Strait? Sure, but that would be rather inconsequential and they would likely wait to do so closer to the time they are prepared to take Taiwan. These are not my opinions, they are the opinions of our military.
