China Considers Move to All Electric Vehicles

I've been told before on this board that global warming and climate change are a myth and the reason that myth exists is because other countries want the US to waste money on fixing the issue while those other countries overtake us as the global economic power.
Now that France, China, and the UK have come up with a plan to phase out gas cars, can we admit that theory is a tin foil hat crock of nonsense?

I'm all for taking care of planet, but global warming is a scam. Unless you have some grand plan to keep the sun from burning hotter every day.

So how would you explain the unusually high frequency of natural disasters lately? And if it's a scam, who is the scam artist?

I'm heavily against increased government control, but it's been proven over and over that without oversight companies will do whatever they can to increase the bottom line at the expense of our planet. Future generations are going to have to cash the check we are writing.

The article indicates the Chinese are almost completely motivated by pollution problem.
They have horrible air quality in their cities. Unrivaled.
I'm fairly certain this board can discern between breathable air quality and AGW.
