Looks like most Americans are just as "triggered" as I am. NFL ratings in the tubes. Sad you want to bring up my age, as it's irrelevant to the topic at hand

"Special" implies that the individual is unique in his actions.

A lot of people aren't tuning in, thus making it common, not special.

I don't know why but I picture Levon Helm when I read your post.

It started a couple of years ago for me. I used to watch all the games I could then just Saints games, then last year I didn't even watch those.

Not watching again this year!

I may have watched part of one game since the Saints won the SB, and I didn't even watch games most of that season. Pink month and hand holding and SJW'ism been going on for too many years so I gave it up long ago.

I have not watched a pro sports event in over 10 years.

Except for when LSU plays the Semi-Pro Alabama Squad.

I usually only watch the Super Bowl anyway but didn't tune in last year and don't intend on ever watching another. College football is next at the rate these universities are caving to SJWs and considering how far left these networks like MSESPN, iCBS, ABS, etc are shifting.

If it was common then you wouldn't have every other post being a shifty attention grab today.

It's the flavor of the month right virtue signal. Similar to the Starbucks cup controversy.

Those teams are just as full of SJWs though, no? I guess you can say they aren't as vocal about it.

That is how you determine if something is common?

I agree with that, but they are student athletes who will actually face consequences. They aren't "entitled" for the most part. Now, universities on the other hand can get fricked

Well it's a little hard to tell since they keep it to themselves.

It has been a gradual withdrawal for me.

I watched every Sunday when the KC Chiefs had Lenny Dawson playing QB.

In the 80s I watched some Saints games.

In the 90s I watched the Super Bowls. But no pregame analysis. It was more boring than a Senate Committee hearing.

I haven't watched a game since 2000. The TV in the gym in front of my treadmill has highlights on Monday morning. So I do watch a few minutes of NFL the day after.

I watch a lot of college football, LSU baseball, pro golf. I have 2 golf partners:
G: watches NO sports at all ...for 30 years because 'they make too much money'.
R: watches women's golf because Asians in short skirts do it for him.

Yea. No one bothers to post about things that are common. Why would they?
