How do all charges coincide with one another?
2nd Degree Murder - caused death w/o intent during a felony
3rd Degree Murder - caused death w/o intent while "committing an act that is eminently dangerous to other persons while exhibiting a depraved mind, with reckless disregard for human life"
2nd Degree Manslaughter - Negligence where a person creates an unreasonable risk and consciously takes the chance of causing death or great bodily harm to someone else

Court of appeal probably thinks Chauvin lacks standing.
IOW I wouldn’t be optimistic about a bunch of Minnesota appeals judges.
We’re fricked as a country

This trial was a show the whole time. This dude is going to win an appeal pretty easily.

That doesn’t make sense. He didn’t kill three people.
I convicted a guy on three separate charges of negligent homicide. There was only one victim.
That's how it works-

He isn't getting acquitted on appeal. As I've said from the start there is no one willing to risk their safety for this guy.

You don't have to have three different victims to break three different laws during a single event.

Because Maxine Waters says so.

Totally BS....If they wanted to convict on the lowest charge that is one thing.
But they are saying that he intentionally killed that man.
Right. I could rationalize his being guilty of manslaughter. But this goes waaaaayyyyy beyond that.
I watched the whole trial and it was manslaughter. The murder crap is purely political and has nothing to do with the legal charge of murder. Possible the murder charges will get overturned but not manslaughter. He fit that charge to a T

Thank you. That says there is no actual intent needed so it makes sense now
Eta: I still don't agree with anything other than 2nd manslaughter

Will end up appealed on grounds of Maxine Waters inciting riots if he wasn’t found guilty and jurors feeling intimidated by all the outside rhetoric and fearing for their safety after the defense witness’ former home being vandalized after testifying. Minnesota is going to have to go through this crap all over again in another year or so

There has to be something wrong with you to want to be a white cop in a large city.

I’m sure all the innocence project groups are lining up for this one.

This didn’t even apply.
Not surprised, though. Mob justice and intimidation prevailed.

Unfortunately, no he isn't.
He should and shouldn't be guilty of anything over manslaughter, and that a a huge stretch.
The fix is in and we are done as a united nation. The US is no more, and if you are part of the majority, its past time you started planning accordingly.
