i think the hate and disdain for the other side, yeah, i think that's very much equal... i just think the whataboutisms and the finger pointing when both sides are terrible to each other, it's all moot...
the main point is we need to really figure it the frick out, as a society, and realize that people are more than the political affiliation they choose

oh, look he absolutely did it the right way... i'll give him credit for that, for sure... like i said, there was very little that i agreed with as far as his views, but he went about it the correct way...
but it's been years of increasing vitriol, personal attacks, etc from both sides that has set the stage for increasing political violence, no matter what side is doing it....
you want me to villainize the Left over this? sure, if that's what you need me to, i'll do it.... but just keep it 100% and if there is political violence from the Right next time, are you ok with me calling out them then? or is different in that circumstance?

it's not... right wing as been the victim more often lately, no one would deny that... REGARDLESS of the side doing the most right now, it's WRONG... i'd feel the exact same if the shoe were on the other foot... i really can't accurately describe how much i dislike both parties, and i hate that in elections, more often than not, i have to vote for a member of one of them...
