let's be honest... i could give you a list of political violence targeting the left, but you'll just dismiss it b/c it doesn't confirm your bias... and look, that's your right to do...
but again, as an independent, who fricking hates both of these parties and the crazy fricking people on the extremes in each camp, i just find it incredibly sad that even something like this isn't enough to snap us back to reality... instead, it seems the other side is already planning their retribution... and then it's just back and forth, increasing in intensity and frequency... where does it stop?

I still feel everything happens for a reason. If you have faith, this is a strong belief. This sucks, saddens me, and makes me angry beyond belief. All these feelings yet I still say God has a plan. Things happen for a reason. I may not understand it right now. I may not see it today or even in 50 years left of my life. But I stand by that good will triumph and if we all do our part what is right, good will prevail for the better.

Here's the thing. Do you think the side that just murdered Charlie, a reasonable man willing to discuss issues openly and honestly, cares at all that you're a self-identified "moderate?"
