Have you listened to the Album Charlie made when his Dad passed, g? It was total Religion, and a masterwork; though I can't remember the name of it or how long ago it was released. Well worth the effort to run it down, if you like Religious-themed music. By no means traditional Gospel; Daniels version.

He played a USO show at was at in Iraq in like ‘04-‘05.
The concert was at at former soccer stadium and it was perfect weather up until he and his band took the stage. At that moment a sandstorm blew in behind him. Charlie was a sport and played 5 or 6 songs—borrowing goggles and singing through a bandana (and also probably ruining thousands or dollars of instruments/sound equipment)—before saying something like “you might know this one, but you’re about to hear it four times faster than you ever have” (Devil went down to GA, of course).
