Much like when “the deal” was originally being worked on, I suspect we’ll continue to hear a lot of “No it’s not!” vs. “Yes it is!” from competing official voices in these coming weeks.

This conflict, like Ukraine/Russia is a constant propaganda war. My guess is it’s open in the sense that the U.S. can get a few ships through per day. But, not February 2026 open.

That depends on what Iran is doing, obviously. That's what I'm waiting to see. This may just be a "US, get your shite together and get Israel on board like you said you would" warning shot and not Iran actually closing the SOH.
