CDC Commander Missing - this might be bad (updated) ...

Just heard a report about a 40 year old Commander at the CDC in Atlanta has gone missing. Report says he may be contaminated with something ... was feeling ill.
Missing, left his wallet, keys and dog at home and is gone.
Registered democrat fwiw. Was one of the big wigs in the department that studies infectious bugs.
I think they said his name is Tim Cunningham. I just heard it on my radio .... we're supposed to be on the lookout for him over here in SC possibly coming over from Atlanta via I-20 or I-85.
They said approach with caution but it was on the scanner so who knows what the hell he looks like except he was described as a black light-skinned male with a short military haircut in his 40s about 5-10 185.
ETA: Here's all we need to know.
He is/was close friends with Shawn King (Shaun King ... not sure of the correct spelling) the radical left wing agitator who is, I think I heard, a white guy who thinks he's black?
Anyways ... they attended Moorehouse (sp?) and Harvard together and are regularly in touch with one another.
This begs the question ... how did this guy pass his background check and have access to these deadly bugs?

I hear them saying he in in charge of some lab ... hey listen, this is really causing an uproar. Wait until this hits the main stream any minute now. People are gonna freak. I just happened to turn on my scanner when our ballgame was over and it was lit.

This is a serious deal though. Those facilities are on DHS lists and monitored periodically by several agencies. They have ugly stuff.
