Do we have any evidence that he worked in/around disease research labs? For all we know he worked a desk and never stepped foot near anything that could infect him.

No we don't. And I have yet to hear anything that might be verifiable that he actually played with bugs ... just that his team deals with transmission and outbreaks.

I dunno exactly how to interpret that quite honestly.

It is odd, however, that he is constantly being reported as having been "ill." It's even being stressed to some degree ... but who knows what it means.

It means clicks and people paying attention to the story. Of course media outlets will highlight CDC worker and ill. No one cares about a missing CDC guy but mention he is ill and people are all over that.

I was totally going to read this article on blacklistednews.com but, unfortunately, the headline about the Trump White House confiscating guns caught my eye and I had to read it.

Unbelievably credible news site. I mean this is the real deal of news. When I think news, I think blacklistednews.com!

Timothy Cunningham, 35, went to work on Feb. 12 and left sick, the Atlanta Police Department said. Cunningham, who studied at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, is a commander in the Public Health Service and has been sent to respond to public health emergencies including the Ebola virus and the Zika virus, according to the CDC.

The CDC in a statement called Cunningham "a highly respected member of our CDC family."

I'm thinking suicide. The fact his parents won't say what his disturbing text messages actually said leads me to this conclusion. Either that or someone was after him and he texted about it. Living in Atlanta, he may have got jacked.

Why couldn't you just post that to begin with?

I'm not too worried about this. An epidemiologist "responding" to Zika and Ebola outbreaks does not mean he works in a lab, does not mean he has unsupervised access to these, or any other, pathogens. It's news because he's a big wig at the CDC. Would be the same if the #3 at EPA went missing.

I thought about that ...

Why leave his keys, wallet and beloved dog and just walk out the door? Did he leave with someone knowing he would never return ... signed off basically, walked away from his current life?

Is he on some kind of personal mission maybe?

What was "ill" about him? Reports seem valid coming from some who knew him on twitter that they have heard strange things from his family and that he has been distraught since Trump's election and this is new ...

He became particularly upset when the director of the CDC abruptly resigned just days before his disappearance. Until just a few minutes ago I had not read anything about that but evidently someone is about to make a connection that is soon to be revealed.

Was/is he gay maybe? He's not married ... just speculation.

The former Director of the CDC was a white female who resigned because of financial conflicts LINK (Washington Post).

It's all very odd.

If he turns up dead ... we'll probably never know for sure what happened but I've seen nowhere where it was mentioned that his cell phone was also left behind.

That's even more suspicious to me ... that and the radio chatter about there being an APB issued for him here in SC.

I wonder if Trump had something to do with the CDC lady resigning? Part of the swamp draining. And maybe he got upset and his TDS kicked into overdrive. It sounds more and more like the TDS got to him and he did something to himself. The fact his friends noticed he was acting strange leads me to believe this was a self inflicted event.

People on the left are insane. I admit I was extremely bummed Obama got elected, but I would never get to the point in life that Obama would make me go crazy, run off and kill myself.

I really hope it ain't true and he got home invaded or something.

TDS has spread everywhere, already...Those affected are exposing themselves, and you can see the signs/symptoms a mile away. Still, stay away from them if you can, they are not infectious, but you never know when they will snap/melt.
