I'd hate the pick, too. Even Trump is too "establishment" for me, but I'd take Trump and Haley over any possible Democrat in a heartbeat.

She probably is the best person to some people, yo. Probably a decent many. Gotta be cognizant of that tendency to presume everyone else surely shares your same exact views and beliefs. Or anyone possibly.

My only attempt at a positive spin on such a move would be something akin to what Obama did with Hillary and Biden.
Obama didn’t like Hillary and she didn’t like him. But he neutralized her somewhat by hiring her to work for him and giving her something she wanted after taking the presidency from her. Somewhat similarly, Obama didn’t like Biden and knew he was a stupid POS but he needed an old white guy DC establishment insider to balance the ticket and make some people happy.
Or, it could be a move where Trump is attempting to pacify the Republican Party establishment, something akin to when Reagan acquiesced to GHWB being foisted upon him by the GOPe.
That being said, Haley is the absolute worst embodiment of American politics, a bloodthirsty humanity stomping Constitution shredding neocon she devil that I don’t want anywhere near any position of power in government, even if her tasks solely consisted of going to funerals.
I don’t think I could vote for Trump if she is on the ticket.
Neocons and GOPe are automatic disqualifiers for me.

Behind the scenes and under the facade, Trump's camp has always been leaky as shite with the mainstream media and has worked hand in glove with them throughout the primary. This may indeed be fake reporting but it may also be a test balloon from his camp.

The reality is Trump is under more and more pressure to choose Haley as VP. He needs the money and the support. Of course if he does he may win the nomination but Haley will end up being the President in the end. Going to be hilarious when all the folks here that spent so much time and effort tearing down DeSantis realize all they did was get themselves Haley.
