I’m just here with my
for the completely unbiased Texas election analysis from folks who won’t be casting a ballot here.
No agendas, no wishful thinking. Just concerned out-of-state citizens generously sharing their wisdom on how things should operate in Texas

Was coming to post this. Since the first Reagan landslide, which the networks called a dead heat, the polls always skew left.
Early turnout from Trump friendly counties in Texico is kicking a$$ from 2024 numbers.

I’m not a Texan myself, but I do know that Paxton has previously shown that he’s perfectly capable of winning a statewide election in that state.
We’ll see what all excuses and attempts at claiming why he’s perfectly capable in all OTHER statewide elections, just not this one.

No, the way Paxton loses is due to the repeated unpopular policy pushed in this state by the GOP and the fact that Paxton is an all time bad candidate. I know this will get downvoted by those that just get emotional about this but TX should never even be in doubt on a state wide election. The Republican Party has not listened to what is actually important to the people of Texas in a long time and have lined their pockets with money from lobbyists pushing an agenda. Yeah I know, that’s just what politics are, but you talk to people around this state and they are fed up with Abbott, Dan Patrick, all of them.

i too noticed the lag in talking points on behalf of Talerico …I mean against Paxton, were slow to reach TD. They’ve arrived! Now we’ve even got professional political poll analysts ready to give us their predictions! What a time to be alive!

With Wedgwood and others admitting to just making stuff up, CBS has to slowly walk their polls back to being the truth.

And so they should vote for hard left "trans the kids" communist nutjobs?
Explain that shite to us.
The idea that you nitpick right wing candidates and open the door WIDE OPEN for the most batshit insane commie frick face trash just baffles me.

Well in the US Senate T'rico can't really do much about trans kids in Texas
Texas has strong state laws opposed to madness
Focusing on that is just being distracted by stuff that doesn't have anything to do with the position
Whereas patrick as Lieutenant Governor which really drives how the state is run, has been expanding the size of government. Which is the least conservative thing you can do in government
Interfering in people's lives, he acts as the morality police, not because he has any morality, but because that's a cheap way to keep the Republican activists happy and thinking that he's doing something; meanwhile he's filling his pockets at the expense of Texans

If the Federal government passes a law, it would supersede a contradictory state law

It's a mighty big if, and it would be a drastic shift if the federal government got into the trans argument on the side of the trans
thats a losing argument politically across demographics, and rightfully so now that doctors and psychiatrists are being held responsible, I don't see it expanding by order of the federal government

If Paxton loses this race the Republican Party of Texas should blame no one but themselves. Over and over again they have passed legislation in this state that is not even popular amongst Republican voters.
Hell the THC ban couldn’t have been more obvious they were being bought and paid for by the alcohol lobbyists. Smokable hemp is banned but you can still buy THC seltzers because they are sold by alcohol distributors. Make it make sense that you were actually looking out for Texans best interest there Dan Patrick and Greg Abbott. Not to even mention the way that went where SB3 got vetoed after being so unpopular but then you do the same thing that bill was going to accomplish through the back door of rule changes with DSHS.
That’s just one example of ignoring the people of this state.
Then you have how much Abbott has fricked up public education in this state which I could go on an on about.
I have never voted anything other than Republican in my life, don’t plan on changing that, but I also understand why people are fed up with this leadership because I am fed up with it. I would love a change here. Don’t really want it to be the democrats…but if it is, the republicans earned this through their shitty leadership for years here.

I think it's emotional to vote for (or refuse to vote against) shite far worse than the wrongheaded Republican policies. You fix intra-party issues in the primary. The general is all about making sure Democrats do not win. Otherwise, you're no better than the useful idiots on the Left.

I don’t disagree. But I think it’s hard do that through the primary because the way voting works in primaries here. It’s very rare you see incumbents lose in a primary here.

Copied and pasted from Reddit. We have plenty of new Talerico Bros here. Let’s not pretend otherwise.
