A CBS poll showing toss up, means Paxton wins by 5% at least

Was coming to post this. Since the first Reagan landslide, which the networks called a dead heat, the polls always skew left.

The only ace dimtards have in the hole is that being low character immoral souls they are not at all hesitant to cheat.

I hate to admit it, but Jesse Jackson was right about one thing, "Get out da Bushes!"

I think he is referring to the percentage of Texas GOP voters that align with Bush politics vs Paxton politics.

Whatever that percentage is… they aren’t voting for Paxton.

The GOP establishment and the Bush's want wide open borders, welcome all Muslims even the terrorists, under the flag of diversity. They despise MAGA and don't GAF about anything but globalization and trading mints with big Mike, at their yacht club trashy Obama library gatherings.

Paxton in Texas and Collins in Maine will probably still go to the Republicans

All polls are going to be off this cycle. In 2024 polling had people that didn’t vote in 2020 +4 Trump. People that didn’t vote in 2024 and plan on voting in the midterms is at 60%-65% Democrats. That is per CNN’s Harry Enten

Even if the poll is off by 30% that is still a huge swing towards democrats.

I’ve been saying for over 2 months Kansas is going to be close. Hamilton(D) was spending millions in July, August, and September and Marshall was nowhere to be found. Commercials on streaming services are still over 2-to-1 for Hamilton. I’m sure Hamilton’s mega church congregation is getting out the vote in Kansas City Metro and Wichita Metro. Kansas does have a 2 term democrat governor

Polls always show the left winning up until the last couple of weeks. They usually course correct right before so that they don't lose all trust once their earlier polls are wrong.

Please stay on topic. You can be arrogant and wrong about the subject at hand without any distractions. I believe in you.

Elon and Big tech needs those data centers. But they want Texans to provide all the incentives. So Abbott gives them huge corporate tax breaks and priority.

Rural Texans will decide how much they want to sacrifice their water supply and utility bills.

Any polling that ever showed that lunatic winning was fake.

I don't even trust the CBS poll. It's always possible that it's virtually a toss-up, but I take it as a good sign that CBS basically has it even. Even polls that are basically honest usually underpoll Republicans.

God help us all if that total phony wins. Can you even imagine running for political office and having to pretend that you are actually for almost everything which you are already on record as being against? This dude is an even bigger phony than Obama, if that's even possible.

Data centers have a closed loop cooling system.

I don’t know about Texas, but Entergy is building more power plants here in Louisiana. Once the technology decreases the need for these huge data centers (which is coming sooner than people realize) we will have more power than we can ever use.

Correct. Every poll shows Republicans lower than they actually are. All of them.

And completely removes any local authority during the process.

I don't mind the date centers themselves. But it's bullshite that a "conservative" government wants to centralize power at the state capital and ignore the concerns of locals and their elected officials. And that was all Abbot and Patrick.

Unfortunately, they won't. They don't have that authority in TX

I’ve heard this was a big talking point around Project Matador (to be the largest data center in the US) outside of Amarillo. Major financial gain for the co-founder, Rick Perry. So if the technology reduces the need for large data centers… is that just pork projects?

The locals have to deal with droughts in the panhandle, and have expressed their concerns regarding heavy water usage.
