You don’t need to put all employers who break labor laws in jail… you just need to prosecute a few and disrupt enough business’s operations before other businesses take notice and change theirselves
I absolutely agree with this statement. But, has the DOJ prosecuted any employers yet? I don't recall any so far.

You are not a serious poster so your opinion really doesn’t matter. Nothing this administration does will be good enough for leftist like you. That being said, I’m feeling charitable, so let me help you out. Read slowly:
Enticing change through carrots can be just as effective as using sticks. When you start seeing your competitors and partners business operations being disrupted by raids, smart business people will internally investigate their own hiring practices and make appropriate changes. Just like when you see other illegal aliens lose their jobs and get deported, you will consider taking the government’s offer to self depot.
Look, my attitude about this sorta thing is easy. If MAGA is fine with the Trump administration allowing employers (especially corporate) to willfully violate labor law without consequence, then fine, you've convinced me.
We'll keep with the carrot and see for ourselves if employers one day, just decide to start obeying the law. It could happen I suppose.

Now if Trump continues to deport at about his current rate, or maybe slightly higher. By the time he leaves office, he might reach 1.2 million deportations.
Depending on your source. There are between 11 million and 30 million illegals in this country. 1.2 million deportations is insignificant.
These people aren’t going anywhere.
That's the real story in this article.
There have been numerous reports that self-deportations have already accounted for 500k - 1M deportations. This would suggest we'll get between 6M and 12M deportations under Trump at the current rate

See, you didn’t read slow enough… no one said they are ok with companies violating labor laws. What I said was once you start prosecuting some employers and disrupting enough business operations, other businesses will self correct

Off the top of my head….. I’m pretty sure they opened up a case on that California pot farm that was raided

Well someone else in this thread posted a New York post article that "claims" or supposes that there have been up to 1 million self deportations or so. This claim comes from a Wall Street Journal opinion piece (chuckles) and the Washington Post. Two papers, that just yesterday were the absolute height incredulity. The Center for immigration studies is quoted, but they're regarded as an unreliable source.
Now, juxtapose that with the Department of Homeland Security's inability to provide any real numbers on this at all. The best they can do is confirm the departure of approximately 3000, using the CBP Home app.
So really, we have a choice. Believe two publications that everyone loathes and has zero trust in. Or believe Donald Trump's DHS, which has no meaningful data on the subject.
I guess I'll trust the Trump administration on how many have self deported.

Well you added that part after the fact, but no matter. I'll respond to it.
The Prez is talking tough about it. When it actually starts, or at least starts beyond a token effort. We'll chew on it.

No you won’t. As I said before, nothing will be good enough for leftist like you. You will always find something else to bitch about when it comes to this administration or any other Republican administration

100% effective because all were illegally in this country.
Name another country who allows illegals to invade their country and have its borders absolutely open?
Waiting ....

The fact that the liberal progressive CBS sets the standard for deportation as convicted murderers tells you all you need to know about leftist perspective regarding immigration
And it largely explains why Democrats lost the last election.

How many have self deported due to fear of being arrested and sent to El Salvador?

What the frick kind of metric is that? Only Murder convictions matter?
Two things can be true.

You forget that the BBB added a few extra nickels for ICE activities. So I highly doubt your 1.2 mil math will hold up.
