Pandy I disagree.
One, they are deporting at an increasing rate every month.
Two, they have a HUGE increase in budget to attack all facets of putting pressure on illegals, from workplace, to medical, schools, free govt programs, or just being in public in general.
Three, many many will self deport due to the aforementioned. Most of these illegals are very mobile. They dont have roots like a multi generational Americans. Faced with having their F-150 and big screen TV seized, along with all their personal possessions, to never return, they will opt to leave and hope circumstances change in a few years.

Don’t forget…..starting to go after employers will have an effect too. The publicized work site raids will have an effect on employers who will start to reevaluate their hiring practices

You know what else seems dumb? Allowing 20-40 million foreign nationals to enter a country of 350M illegally, without immunization, then give them free money, healthcare, allow them to vote, and dictate congressional maps.

Then add in all the so called “legal” ones that take advantage of all the free stuff too.
Our entire immigration system is being used to destroy our culture, and people are just following one carrot.

This is how you know President Trump is not a serious man when it comes to deportation. He absolutely refuses to hold employers accountable for breaking labor law. He simply won't do it.
These token, work site raids don't mean jackshit. Arrests, fines and prosecutions are the only thing that will yield results. None of that will happen.

You are not a serious poster so your opinion really doesn’t matter. Nothing this administration does will be good enough for leftist like you. That being said, I’m feeling charitable, so let me help you out. Read slowly:
Enticing change through carrots can be just as effective as using sticks. When you start seeing your competitors and partners business operations being disrupted by raids, smart business people will internally investigate their own hiring practices and make appropriate changes. Just like when you see other illegal aliens lose their jobs and get deported, you will consider taking the government’s offer to self depot.
You don’t need to put all employers who break labor laws in jail… you just need to prosecute a few and disrupt enough business’s operations before other businesses take notice and change theirselves
