Cause/effect. Tuesday senate votes to shut down trump war, Wednesday Iran closes strait

During the most critical negotiating period for establishing peace parameters with Iran, the US senate passes a war power resolution to take away the presidents ability to show strength. The effect was immediate. Within 24 hours the Iranian military starts shooting at vessels in Oman waters and broadcasting that the straight is closed. Oil is up 2 bucks today on the uncertainty.
Got to be some accountability for the brainless senate folks that thought a resolution was a good idea. Democrates, a few republicans and Thune for letting it happen.

I think the world's mischief makers have figured out that time is always on their side because half the legislature will work hard to cut the commander in chief off at the knees.

I'm actually a little surprised on this. I feel like the uniparty generally comes together to promote and fund war. They certainly did with Ukraine all the time. But, maybe since this is symbolic, that's why the votes came out the way they did.

There has only been 40ish actual days of "combat/military strikes". Seems like Trump could split hairs here and make that claim. Does the 60 days start over once military actions stop?
Also, Clinton and Obama both carried out military actions longer than 60 days without Congressional approval.
Trump shiuld point this out and say , " stop me".

1. The country of Ukraine was their money laundering capital and it had their bioweapons facilities. That is why they are so protective of Urkraine.
2. They are against the war with Iran because they want to destroy the economy and promote terrorism.
3. They don't support Trumps wars because he doesn't want a 20 year long war.
