He said Trump broke the law. He decided that impeachment was warranted based on his own feelings. He DID NOT vote based on the feelings of his constituents which he represents. Fawk him.

Unfortunately I doubt it. I mean I’m sure he still wants to win but I don’t think he’s worried in the least bit about losing. Worst case scenario he gets booted out any takes a high powered lobbying or consulting gig and gets appointed to the BoD of a couple different companies/SIGs and still gets to reap all the benefits of the DC money machine without any voters to be beholden to.

That’s not what representative democracy is.
They aren’t there to take a poll on every action they take. You send them there to act according to their own beliefs. If you don’t like how that shakes out, you don’t vote for them next time.

I will try again. Cassidy voted to impeach him supposedly based on information that said he was guilty. We know now that it was bullshite. So, if Cassidy knew it was bullshite at the time he voted, would he still vote to impeach. Got it?

My 18-year-old daughter voted for the first time in her life today. She stopped at the polls to vote against him on the way to her high school graduation. Very proud!
