So much for his campaign commercial BS....

What a worthless piece of shite... Glad he's gone.

He has the integrity of a sewer rat...

So much for Save Act passing.

Like they were ever going to bring it to the floor. Thune was using it to blackmail the electorate. He had a chance to get paxton out by simply bringing the bill to the floor and did nothing.

Post-Election Cassidy was going to be a problem, win or lose.

Exactly.

And Scott Pressler went on a 100 day straight crusade warning Thune that if he didn't bring The SAVE Act to the floor, for a vote, he was going to mobilize against Cassidy and Cornyn.

And he kept his word. Thune phooqed up.

Cassidy was going to get mudholed anyway ... but Pressler has made getting Cornyn out his mission.

Thune is going to be in trouble in SD as well, when the time comes. Pressler is building a machine there getting ready to go after Thune.

I'm from Louisiana, and if I ever have the opportunity to be within talking distance of this low-life disgrace I'd be happy to call him out on why I think he deserved to be cast out of office.
In my mind, I'd dick-slap him, but of course...only in my mind!

Remember when people said MAGA was just being vindictive for speaking out against Cassidy and Massey?

As noted elsewhere here, even if he had won, with the protection of 6 more yrs., with no more elections to worry about, his true political persona would have showed up early & long term.

They are supposed to vote the will of the people whom they represent. A senator is representing us, not himself.

He’s elected to represent the interest of the State, not vote how 51% of his constituency wants on every given issue.

Politicians who want to be reelected should listen to their voters though.

I was listening to the Vance press conference when I posted that ... a question was asked about violence against Christians, Charlie Kirk and the Utah shooting was evoked ... and I made a Freudian error.

My bad, mea culpa, correction made.

Thank you to both of you for calling me on my mistake.

I guess Trump’s golf tweet a couple days back ruffled his feathers.

Important point. Yeah, as soon as he had six more years he would have gone back to being a democrat.
