Carville was falsely given credit for the Clinton win. Because he claimed "its the economy, stupid" resonated. Yet he hasnt duplicated that feat since. In over 30 years

Both Clintons victories were solely because of Ross Perot

Carville on Jessie Watters right now.
Why does anyone give this nut job a platform? He lost it months or maybe even years ago.

I don't know if he's clinically retarded, but he's definitely "special".

Carville is/was smart and was a good political strategist in the same way plenty of good coaches watch the game change and pass them by.

It's silly to pretend that Carville wasn't a strong political force in the 90s. The problem is he didn't have a choice but to evolve with his party, and the message was a) one he didn't really fully believe in and b) didn't resonate as well with the public (or at least not using his skillset). The same thing is true for GOP guys. The Christian Coalition era political wonks aren't "dumb" now, they just did their formative training and building in an era that doesn't translate.

The guy had good tools for the messaging of the day. The game changed, the message changed, and the tools he spent a couple of decades developing became obsolete. It will happen again. You will likely see people born into MAGA politics that are completely irrelevant in 15-20 years.

Newt Gingrich is a perfect example of someone who had a strong skillset yet has zero impact on politics at this point except to occasionally reinforce a Trump move to a 70 year old when he appears on a Fox show.

Carville and Joy Behar yesterday thanked Rupert Murdoch for taking down Trump. They really think the JE schtick will stick. Trump tied criminally to JE is the equivalent of as Trump said, RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA, crossfire hurricane.

Carville seemed relaxed and happy. Carville also debated BOR on Cuomo's show. He was more serious about trying to defend Obama.

The talking point is that the bombshell documents on the case against Obama Tulsi speaks of. GET THIS...was done by Marco Rubio and all R's, therefore tainted and partisan.

They fail to mention Schiff stopped the report and was a part of it.
