Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville this week called for former Democratic National Committee Vice Chairman David Hogg to take over the party leadership amid frustrations with DNC Chairman Ken Martin.
Martin has faced scrutiny over the national party's poor fundraising, which comes in contrast to the success of individual candidates. Recent reporting has indicated the strain of the fundraising failures has also taken its toll on him personally, resulting in erratic behavior.
Carville, for his part, called the party "dysfunctional" and indicated that he was open to Hogg taking over leadership.
“If David Hogg wants to take it over, I ain’t stopping you,” he said, according to The Hill. “Go ahead, man, I don’t really care. And I don’t think, at the end of the day, well, they might be fine people. I know some of them are not particularly determined.”
Hogg previously served as Martin's vice chair, but lost his position after the party rules committee found that his election violated diversity rules. He had previously feuded with Martin over strategy and faced scrutiny over his lingering relationship with an outside group that worked to target incumbent lawmakers.

Wow! The party is in shambles if they think that twink can do anything for them.

Carville did an interview last week and looked like he was laying in bed or on the couch.

Carville is an entertaining tard, that's for sure.
Batshit crazy, but entertaining.

First, does anyone give a shite about what the LSLoser has to say anymore? Please run an AOC and Hogg ticket.

What are his qualifications beyond being anti-gun and gay?

My first thought, too. I'm beginning to wonder if there are any serious people running that party. Carville seems crazy, and Hogg is a complete joke.

I forgot that! Destined to fail when your product slogan is "Nobody can bite just one".

Who would win a hotdog eating contest between Hogg and Mayor Pete?

My money'd be on Camera Hogg. The winner would still be in the single digit range though.

Here’s where everybody sees how much pull Carville doesn’t have.

Goes against what he usually preaches.
"It's the economy, stupid". Hogg is a culture warrior who can't offer any ideas for making people's lives better. Unlike TD where there's a strong ancap current, most voters want to hear how you're going to create jobs or make housing and healthcare affordable.
