Better question why would our quartermasters and supply sargeants at US bases would be selling them to the cartels.
Cartels are business, if they don't have to travel halfway across the world and get some guy at FtHood or Polk to get a few of them they will do that and there is no shortage of corrupt people in the US

See, the issue I have is the talking about it. If it is true, what you have is a now designated terrorist organization illegally in possession of illegally obtained weapons of war, and they are camped out on your country's border.
You have the presidency, control of the military, and Congress. You take the report, you confirm the report, you organize a strike plan to eliminate the weapons, and then you make the rounds talking about what you did with proof as to why it was done.

Seriously??? Thier is a huge black market dealing in selling weapons. Whatever weapons/systems the cartels have probably weren't bought from seargants at US bases. The cartels have access to the same weapons/systems that the Houthis,Hamas, Al Qaeda, and every other terrorist groups in the world have access to.
shite, Mexico is so corrupt, they probably purchase some from the Mexican military.

Half the population of that country makes a living in the shadow economy.

This is what Z meant when he told Trump that we would “feel it.”
If any of that shite gets launched, the northern 200 miles of Mexico should be reduced to glass.

The javelin while very highly sought after for was it does is mostly an anti tank weapon. Our destruction of the cartels won’t use tanks
Why do you assume they will be used against military personnel and not civilians?
Why do people underestimate our opponents?

If/when we start taking out cartel leadership, I expect there will be some cartels that go kinetic in the USA. Could be wild.

It's fricking Mexicans. We would obliterate them in hours , not days.
Do they really think we'll drive across the border? LOL.
My God, some of you fall for ahit like this.

What are we waiting for??
Cartels (known terrorists) have American weapons within a driver from the America border!! The frickers are pointing at the US border, exactly what are we waiting for?
Make a call to that Mexican kunt and tell her, you either take them out or we do?!
WTF is Mexico going to do?

There are no undetectable helos.
It's not our supply sergeants selling javelins on the black market. There are too many systems in place for that to happen. The javelins go missing because people high up in our govt do it (since they can cover it up) or they go missing when they are in theater and out of our control (Ukraine, AFG).
The cartels and terror groups are going to have a lot of our javelins, AT-4's, and Stingers. Probably LAW's too if any are still around from the old days. Javelins are just a small piece here. AT-4s are especially dangerous. They are small, light, and easily transported in multiples by a single person. Stingers have a pretty good range. They could cause a lot of chaos at airports close to the border, like San Diego, El Paso, etc.
They are probably going to have plenty of night vision, combination optics, and perhaps even things like the LRASSS. I would be shocked if they didn't have a good supply of 60mm mortars and a lot of mortar rounds.

The second a cartel uses a US made, hi-tech weapon against US personnel, is the exact moment the cartels start their extinction. Use a javelin, get ready for a MOAB to be dropped on the area.
