Be a grown up & do your own research. Choose the candidate that best represents your views. Forget the TV ads and letters next to candidates names- go look up their voting records on proposed legislation. Go look up who’s the big donors to their campaigns. That will tell you what you need to know. It’s YOUR duty to be an educated voter.
What's honestly the easiest way to do this?

How is Schroder not conservative?

Ethics website has campaign donations & for Senators/Reps you can pull up their “profile” on their respective websites and find past legislation.

I’m sure there’s something that can be picked out from his record or actions just like every other candidate in this race where a poster can say “he/she is not conservative”.
Schroder, Hewitt, Landry and Wags are all right of center. The question is which one do you think will best work to try to address real Louisiana-specific issues? Or does that not matter and you just want someone fighting Democrat Presidents?

Hewitt is NOT right of center on any major issues besides oil & gas and school choice.
The biggest problem with differentiating the other candidates is that Schroeder has really failed to distinguish himself from Landry. I have yet to find one policy area where they are noticeably different from one-another. At present, the only difference is personality, experience, and temperament.

Landry has fought DC's overreach.
He certainly doesn't fight the overreach of trial attorneys.
POS scum

We need Landry, it's not 2015 anymore.

Wags would be the best governor

Changed my vote from Landry to Schroder when I heard Landry took campaign money from corrupt insurance guy ( who cheated citizens out of hurricane money) being tried by the AG office.

He’d make a great Congressman, then. He can even take Cassidy’s Senate seat.
We need someone willing to fight within the Capitol walls in Baton Rouge. Fight the ghosts of Huey P Long and Edwin Edwards.
He was a congressman then got beat because he tried to frick indie Louisiana owned offshore oil/gas

Wags for me. Pro business which is what the state needs first to unwind some of the pain from JBE. Then we can work other problems

How did you let them lock you down the first time?
Did you put a mask on out of fear? Did you put a mask on out of obedience? Did you stay home and socially distance!
If you answered yes to any of these, then the state government isn’t the problem, your fear is.
I didn’t wear a mask, nor did I stay home. I didn’t shut my business down, nor did I live in fear.

Most of the “fiscal hawk” stuff as a state representative turned out to be smoke and mirrors.
With that said, I have him above Landry and Wags right now.
