I've no doubt about any of this. Ole Miss' created and sanctioned it's own version of the Thought Police and named it the Bias Incident Response Team. It maintains a hotline where if a student "feels fear" after receiving an uncomfortable stare or look from someone they can call the BIRT and report being subjected to bias from someone in the university community because of their brown or black skin. Also, if any professor gets out of line and tells them "they should just grow up" as happened last year, be warned. They will call BIRT and report feeling bias from the professor, because "they would never say that to a white girl". BIRT will immediately take over at that point and decide the appropriate punishment to be meted out.
