I don't think I've ever purchased a product made in Canada in my entire life. Even as a kid, us Cajuns always had Cane Syrup on pancakes. I don't think sugar cane grows in Canada.

Is there some strategy in prematurely announcing deals that haven't been finalized? This is an obvious pattern with President Trump: Greenland, several other trade deals, Iran several times, etc.
Is the strategy to announce the deal, and then demand more concessions? He did this with the Saudi nuclear deal last month...even after it was SIGNED.

Never a dull moment with this administration. I’ve realized that I’m doing pretty damn well. I’ll happily welcome in a sense of normalcy in a couple of years.

However, Canada will not permit unlimited and unrestricted access to their market for U.S. companies. This, Carney says, compromises the sovereignty of Canada.
