Canada brings so much value to America... by giving us Pornhub?

The X-rated pornography site, which is Canadian-owned, gathers nearly 40 percent of its traffic from the United States, according to their last yearly review.

Ban it. That is a cut off your nose to spite your face thing.

Eww.. those dirty Canadians!
So, 40%... what makes up the remaining 60%?

Yes, there is a shortage of Porn - there are no alternatives, what shall we do

Should be banned anyway

Canada is all over the place since Trump bunched up their panties.

This is just another example that deep down in their fiber, more than anything else, the Canadians do not like the US.

Pick any combination of answers below:
1. It's stealing jobs from Americans.
2. Because we have a glut of porn anyway
3. Because it's a moral cesspool giving young men in America relationship issues?
4. Because we are just shipping that money overseas.
5. Because Canada sucks

I remember when Pornhub announced they were going to block red state access by not allowing their to users to access their adult material based on geographic location. Some of it started at individual state level but it became another 'virtue' signal being used by the company.
I laughed then, I'm laughing now.

It’s still too easy for kids to access, and it distorts the reality of sexual relationships.
Fewer and fewer young adults are having sex, and these porn sites don’t help.

The ONLY things made in Canada worth a frick are woodworking related tools. Companies like Veritas hand planes, Dowel Max doweling jigs and Jessem jigs.
That's it.
I have several Veritas planes--a #7 jointer, a shooting plane and router plane, a low angle jack plane and and one or two more. And i swear by my DowelMax jig.
I have probably $2-3k in Canadian woodworking planes and jigs that are extremely high quality, but everything else they make is bullshite.

19 states already have age verification for porn and that is pretty much a ban. I can't imagine someone giving a porn site their personal information.

Canadian logic at its best
That traffic would just go to an American or other nationality owned website (as if there arent a trillion porn sites out there), reducing the income of Pornhub by 40%
They also dont seem to get that GOP states have already been implementing ID laws to limit traffic to these degenerate sites, we can thank them for their assistance

I agree it distorts the reality, and hopefully enough people can distinguish between fantasy and reality. Not sure it’s a problem that amounts to banning though. Also, don’t a lot of states have their own standards for access to the sites, requiring IDs etc?
As for porn sites and their impact on young adults having sex, are you arguing that more young adults should be having sex and porn sites inhibit that? Or are you arguing that you are in favor of fewer young adults having sex and porn sites threaten that?

Im not going to pontificate about the morality of porn or not, thats a losing battle.
Studies do show young people are dating and getting married at historical lows, and not surprisingly having less sex than ever. ED is also becoming a issue in age brackets that historically did not have that issue. Now, I dont think porn is entirely to blame for either of those issues, but it certainly doesn't help people get off their arse and date or help set realistic expectations
Edit: I wont get into the religious aspects here either, but getting married and having sex is a pretty big part of having a happy life. Its also necessary to have children, and a country without children is a dying country.

I believe he and I believe that more 18-30 year olds NEED to be having sex, both from their mental well being and a continuation of American population.

Wasn't the hub the one that got caught hosting vids of minors?

That, along with revenge porn. They have no guardrails.
If they ban it for America, that would also mean all those American pornstars would need to find new work. What a shame, damn these Canadians for trying to tell American women they cant make a living off porn
