I would invite them in for coffee or tea.

I would not let them in. That can be argued as "consent" later in court. Don't resist, don't obstruct, but also don't just open the door. Make them break it down while you set up your camera.
Put it this way, you have to be alive to sign notarized affidavits.

If they so not have a warrant, you can refuse them entry.
Not if they have probable cause. And probable cause can be anything that they think will stand up in court.

In extreme situations law enforcement can enter property without a warrant. Like if they're chasing a murderer and he jumps through a window to your house. They have no need to obtain a warrant to continue the chase. Your house is not sacred ground.
That said, I'm not sure how far the law extends beyond apprehending the suspect. How much are they allowed to riffle through in order to find the perp? I dunno, but I would imagine the courts would give them a lot of leeway.

Exactly.

No doubt. But is it your right to resist?
Yes. The Constitution doesn't prevent you form making bad decisions. Of course you have a right to resist. You have to decide to what extent you want your day to be ruined as you exercise your constitutional rights.
As others have said...the prudent course of action is through court afterwards.

I wasn't aware Minnesota's government was being run by conservatives. Can you point out to me which of their government leaders are conservatives?

Arrest? No. That’s against the law. Our resistance is offered in a court of law.

Not as of January of this year. Before then it was.

I have the right to stand my ground and use force against illegal acts ordinarily.
It's now legal. Until someone overturns the court ruling, which I can't imagine they won't.

If it was me, I would just let them in. First, I don’t have anything to hide. If I didn’t want them to come in my house, I’m not going to win that battle right then and I can my day in court later on.
Posted on 2/3/26 at 8:23 pm to RanchoLaPuerto
Yes, unless they are in active pursuit of a suspected criminal.

Idkm.
Pointing a gun at law enforcement and trying to intimidate them into leaving would not work out well. If anything, just pull a phone out and record and fight the battle in court.
If the gun is by a wall and you make them aware. I'd imagine that it's no big deal.
Reminds me of those morons we often see in body cam videos... who believe they are unlawfully pulled over, so they fight tooth and nail against the officer, and sometimes end up getting shot. Rather than just fight it in the courts.

Feds should have jurisdiction anywhere, anytime......it is the only way to full law and order.

Not arrest.
ICE shows up at your house and asks to come in, NOT to arrest you.
You say no and tell them to get a warrant.
They say they do not need a warrant. This makes it flatly illegal.
Can you resist with force? I absolutely understand that I would get shot and that it is stupid. Just about everyone dodges the question by going that way.
Assume I survive after actively resisting their illegal entry. Have I committed a crime, or have they?
