Can you folks simply tell me who we should be supporting for 2024: Trump or DeSantis?

I'm tired of all the bickering and flip flopping. I just want to pick my horse and back it without having to go back and forth.

If the powers in control actually let the voters decide, Trump will be the nominee.

Because they fear voters, they are working overtime to prevent a viable Trump candidacy.

That alone is reason enough to throw your support behind Trump.

Trump will be 78 when sworn in and 82 at the end of his term. Look at Biden's mental decline - he's 79. Trump may be healthier and sharper but age catches up eventually.

Vote for youth.

Trump can still win, but it's a coinflip. DeSantis is a slam-dunk for a landslide win. Anyone who would rather have a coin-flip election instead of a slam-dunk needs their head examined. He may win, but if we run Trump and he loses, we will have deserved it for passing up a slam-dunk.

DeSantis. Trump will step on his dick.

Trump unnecessarily insulted one of the best Republican governors in the country in the nation JUST to get ahead on 2024. No reason to do it.

I pride myself on coining the phrase “Trump didn’t shoot himself in the foot, but he sure as hell handed a loaded gun to the the left and media and steadied their aim.”

If I was Ron DeSantis, I wouldn't fight like Trump did. Just watching how the weak republicans abandon the greatest fighter in our lifetime when he's putting his finances, freedom and possibly his life on the line tells me these people aren't worth it.

I didn't come across this until a few days after it happened but he had an interview with Maria Bartiromo right before Christmas last year. She asked him why he didn't fire Fauci and he said it would have created a "a firestorm on the left." I couldn't believe my ears. He was afraid of firing Fauci because of the outcry of the left. Basically, he was terrified of how Joy Behar, Jimmy Kimmel, and the Lincoln Project would react. I'm sorry, but if you're too afraid to do the right thing then you're a fricking pussy and have no business being President.

That was the final straw for me so I say DeSantis all the way.

quote:

'I did it right, because if you do fire him you're going to have a firestorm on the left again, as usual,' Trump told Fox News' Sunday Morning Futures host Maria Bartiromo in an interview pre-taped on Friday.

Desantis isn’t running. When Trump announces in a few weeks, it will clear the field. I predict a Desantis/Lake ticket in 2028.
