If you can't see that, then maybe you need to do some reflection on how seriously you're worried about the truth.

You said Trump made it up out of thin air as if it was all a fantasy. They are expanding and maybe, just maybe he gave the President of the Us a little inside info about future plans which haven’t yet been announced.

Here is the statement from the spokesman. Where is the denial about what Trump said? Implicit or otherwise?
quote:

"We post all of our major operational announcements to our website and report them on earnings calls. Our most recent one pertained to our Granite City "A" blast furnace restart," emailed a U.S. Steel spokesperson, who declined to elaborate further.

If they didn't want it announced they would have mentioned that as part of the conversation

What is your contention. They were too lazy to do a press release themselves so relied on Trump to broadcast the news on twitter. Then when confronted about it didn't confirm Trump's claim?

If Trump's claims are true why wouldn't they confirm them?

A quick google search revealed USS opening two facilities and creating 800 jobs. Not too far fetched to assume they have more planned?

i also saw some other company opening a steel plant here.

i also saw some rich australian going to create 5,000 jobs here with a business. also all the money being repatriated.

Then 4 of you need to read what he said again

Or you could watch the video of his statement online

He says "The head of US Steel called me"

He later refers to the industry as the steel industry. He made a point to distinguish between the company and the industry with his own language.

Nothing to be confused about here

I seriously wonder if Trump says U. S. steel ( meaning the industry) and not US Steel ( meaning a specific company)

That’s what I thought.

But I guess we can also claim he’s talking about one specific company because we hate Trump and desperately need a gotcha.

are you now claiming he didn't make those statements? Even though he admitted he made those statements? Are you sure you know what the word "fake" means?

Yes, he made those statements privately to a journalist.

And yet here is the headline

quote:

Milo Yiannopoulos called for 'gunning journalists down on sight,' says it was 'private joke'

Called for it to whom? And you eat this shite up and run here to spread it like he was yelling the shite at klan rallies. You quickly backed out of the thread, which is good. I was just pointing out how your opinion should mean jack shite because you spread fake news and post emojis

Did he misquote poor old Milo?

Pretty sure he didn't.

Because they don't want to be the next American company in the crosshairs of his stupid twitter rants would be my best guess

They essentially invited people to do their own research instead of listening to Trump

Who said they didn’t want them announced? My contention is that we weren’t on the phone call so we don’t know what was said. I think the better question is that just because it isn’t yet public knowledge yet you assume Trump made it up. Let me ask you genius, if it was already public knowledge, why would Trump make a statement about what happened on a private phone call that everyone alreaafy knows. The point of relating what happens on a phone call betwix the President Of US America and Steel is that it isn’t yet public information.

Why don’t you just thank the man for bringing back jobs instead of making stupid accusations about conversations you weren’t privy too. Or go scream at the sky.
